my story

During the darkest season of my life I had an encounter with Jesus that changed everything.

This kick-started a wild adventure starting in my Northern Irish school-days that led me to Rwanda, Haiti, Nepal, Iceland, NYC and right back to Northern Ireland.

Along the way I met a beautiful nurse from Germany called Jaci who I now have the amazing privilege to call my wife.

After working for a non-profit in Manhattan for 3 years we now live in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

I live the full, purposeful life I was always searching for thanks to a personal relationship with Christ.

Not one that is easy or without challenges, but one that is worth it and one that I wouldn’t trade for the world.

Personal Writing

I have always loved to write and tell stories.

From a young age I’ve filled journals and ploughed through books at a steady rate.

Now at 22 years old, this habit hasn’t changed much (though an excessive helping of podcasts have been added into the mix.)

I have a real hunger for new experiences/stories/ideas and as a result go through different passion projects, hobbies and interests from month to month.

This produces a wildcard of topics I write about, but all my work tends to have elements of faith and self-improvement woven into them.

“I desire to change my readers lives in anyway I can and write about what is honest, true and real.”

My main writing project at this time – The Blood Tipped Blade – is a book/resource for teens who are addicted to pornography and is set to be published in 2018.

best of belfast podcast

After moving back to Northern Ireland in 2016, I fell madly and deeply in love with Belfast and the incredible people who call it home.

In response to my new found love I started Best Of Belfast as a platform to showcase local creatives/entrepreneurs and to grow in my own knowledge of the city for a fictional novel set in Belfast that I’m working on.

I now have a lot of fun telling the stories of local legends through the podcast, blog and social media pages.

freelance work

Over the last few years I’ve undertaken freelance work – primarily as a copywriter – for 100+ clients all over the world.

My professional interests now lie in working with local, creative projects in a digital marketing capacity.

I’m quite flexible both in the services I provide and the type of clients I work with.

If you are interested in partnering up for a project you can contact me here.
